At Koldinghus, the Christmas atmosphere is absolutely fantastic! In the beginning of December, Koldinghus hold their unique Christmas market, where you can find stalls with quality goods around the halls of castles. A wide selection of crafts, Christmas decorations, local food, clothes, jewelry and much more.

On the first weekend of Advent, Trapholt opens its doors for this year’s Christmas market. In the atmospheric halls, some of Denmark’s most skilled artisans exhibit and sell their crafts, featuring ceramics, glass art, jewelry, fashion, home textiles, graphics, and paper art in a variety of styles and expressions.

Trapholt’s café, Gustav Lind, which offers a beautiful view of Kolding Fjord, is also in the Christmas spirit, offering warm drinks and sweet treats to enjoy. The Christmas market takes place on Saturday, November 30th, and Sunday, December 1st, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Experience a truly special Christmas market in the cozy, culturally historic setting of Museumsgården Karensminde: stalls with handmade crafts, open workshops, horse-drawn carriage rides, playful elves, Christmas chats with the animals, a visit from Santa Claus, and much more.

Since old times, Christiansfeld has used a very special advent star made of paper, shaped like a morning star with 25 points.
It is manufactured in Herrnhut and became known in Denmark through the Brethren in Christiansfeld and is used in many places in Germany. Each year, the star is made as an Annual Star in a new color in a limited number.

Experience Christiansfeld in December, with the beautiful Moravian star lighting up the streets and the delicious gingerbread filling the air.
