The Crooked Path Cycle Route - Take a historic and fun cycle ride close to Billund

The Crooked Railway is a charming 26 km cycling and walking trail stretching from Grindsted to Brande. Following a former railway line, the route offers varied landscapes including fields, forests, heaths, and bogs. Along the way, you pass through the villages of Filskov, Blåhøj, Drantum, and Brande, as well as a World War II memorial outside Filskov. This flat and scenic route is perfect for cyclists seeking a blend of nature and history.

A cycle route where everyone can join: 'The Crooked Path'

The Crooked Path is a historic and charming bike and hiking trail which winds from Grindsted to Silkeborg. The route is long and flat but by no means boring – every cyclist’s dream. The relatively route present a diverse landscape - cultivated fields, forests, moor, bogs and plantations. Most of the route runs along the old railway and at several places the path crosses old railway bridges dating back to the beginning of the last century. The path also crosses no less than seven streams before reaching Brande. Apart from the beautiful landscape The Crooked Path runs through the towns, Filskov, Blåhøj, Drantum and Brande.
