Throughout opening hours, you’re welcome in the library’s children’s cinema – complete with real movie theater seats. Enjoy animated films and other movies suitable for the youngest guests.
Active Floor
Play with your feet! Every month, new interactive floor games are available for children and families – from quiz games to football, memory games, and more.

Board Games and Togetherness
Holiday time is cozy time – choose a board game or puzzle from our large collection, with options for all age groups. You can play right at the library or register as a borrower and take it along to your holiday home or apartment.
Nature Discovery Backpacks
Heading out into nature? Borrow a nature backpack filled with books about small animals and handy tools to help you explore and learn more about the natural world.
Café Area
Relax with a cup of coffee while the kids explore the library. You’re also welcome to enjoy your packed lunch here.

Art for All Ages
At the heart of the library, you’ll find Two Breathing Holes with Light by Olafur Eliasson. The artwork is beautifully integrated into the building and invites us to see the world in a new light and from new perspectives.
In the children’s library, works by artists like Ginette Wien and Charles Fazzino spark curiosity in both young and old. Throughout the building, you’ll also find pieces by artists such as Sven Havsteen-Mikkelsen and Kirstine Roepstorff.
